When Jill Bayor was only 19 year old, she became one of David Letterman’s assistants, during one of the most important era’s of Late Night with David Letterman’s history. Jill opens up to Mike about many of the lessons she learned during the fun, exciting, wild ride working for Dave & Company. A combination of structure and surprise, every day seemed to bring something new to Jill from the day she was hired. Even her job interview was exciting. She tells many stories and antics that happened on both the 6th and 14th floors of 30 Rock. After working for Dave, Jill went on to become a writers assistant for Saturday Night Live, and later also worked on one of the most successful sit com’s of all time, Friends. A fun and insightful conversation, Jill talks about many of the things she has learned in becoming the writer and artist she is today.
