Tom Yang is currently a specialized motor vehicle mechanic who’s expertise is fixing/maintaining Ferrari’s built before 1970. Before that, he was an audio engineer for Late Show with David Letterman for 12 years, and has a plethora of anecdotes that straddle both of his colorful careers. Tom and Mike have a fantastic conversation about he got into the television business to begin with, how he ended up at Late Show, becoming ‘car buddies’ with Dave in the process, and how his passion for automobiles morphed his career in a completely new, exciting direction. He has many stories about the musical aspect of Late Show, and sheds light on some of the production processes, while also sharing memories and photographs of a few of the unbelievable things he got to be a part of.
